About iATKOS
iATKOS is an independent educational publication for people who want to understand Hackintosh, OpenCore and OpenCore Legacy Patcher workflows. Our goal is to explain compatibility decisions, configuration checks and recovery steps in clear technical language.
What we publish
We publish original tutorials, troubleshooting checklists, hardware-compatibility notes and curated links to primary project documentation. A guide should help a reader identify their own hardware, make a reversible change and verify the outcome. We do not present copied EFI folders as universal solutions.
Editorial standards
- Technical claims are checked against project documentation and release notes where possible.
- Articles distinguish between a PC Hackintosh workflow and an unsupported genuine Mac using OCLP.
- Posts are revised when a macOS, OpenCore or kext release changes the recommended approach.
- Readers are encouraged to back up their EFI and data before firmware, bootloader or system changes.
What we do not provide
iATKOS does not host or distribute Apple installers, macOS distributions, cracked software, pre-built serial identities or proprietary drivers. Readers should obtain operating-system software and applications only through authorised sources and should respect applicable licences and law.
