Need help with Installation

Hello everyone,
I followed a YouTube Tutorial but unfortunately when it came to installing Sequoia i was unable to select the Macintosh HD Volume. The message says the installation in this volume isn’t possible because the volume is being encrypted. Did I make a mistake and is there any way to fix this ?
