Hackintosh Guide: Fixing Oversized Video Resolution on Lenovo Ivy Bridge with GT630M + Intel HD
Image
Guide Step by Step: Understanding the Issue : On your Lenovo with Ivy Bridge and GeForce GT630M + Intel HD Graphics, the video output is too large for the laptop's display but appears normal on an external TV. This suggests a resolution or scaling issue specific to the internal display. Check Your Display Settings : First, ensure that the display settings in macOS are set correctly for your laptop's screen. Go to System Preferences > Displays and check the resolution settings. It should match your laptop's native resolution. EFI Configuration Check : Since you've built an EFI that works well except for this issue, review your EFI configuration. Ensure that the correct screen resolution is set in your bootloader's configuration (like Clover or OpenCore). Graphics Configuration in config.plist : Since you're likely using the integrated GPU (Intel HD), check your config.plist for the correct settings under the Graphics section. Ensure that the ig-platform-id an...

Niresh ML 10.8.2 just with 1GB RAM [video]

Niresh 10.8 Mountain Lion and updated it to 10.8.2 with developer account, but after update some of apps won't open. It's better to stick with 10.8.1 for now. Mountain Lion memory management is much better than Lion has, but I will downgrade to Lion again, due to some problems I am experiencing here.  Hardware: GPU: Intel Pentium E2140 @1.60 GHz GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GT 430 OC MBO: ECS 945GCT-M2/1333 (v1.0a) RAM: 1 GB DDR2 source

How to install iATKOS 10.8 [Guide]

With the release of the first developer previous of OS X “Mountain Lion” 10.8 by Apple, people have been hard at work to get it working on their PCs (aka “Hackintosh” or OSx86). Fortunately, it’s still very easy to do, and the steps to get it to work closely follow 10.7 “Lion”. You’ll be able to install Mountain Lion from a USB flash drive, too! Also, this guide may look long, but it honestly isn’t too bad. Lastly, check out our demo video showing Mountain Lion fully working. Requirements Here are the requirements: A copy of Mac OS X –  This can be in the form of an existing hackintosh, a virtual machine within Windows or Linux, or even a regular Mac. If you don’t have any of these things, then find someone who can help you out for a while. I prefer using a virtual machine (I prepared my USB drive with VMware Workstation under Windows 7). Using an already working copy of Mac OS X either in a VM or a native hackintosh install is HIGHLY  recommended, and you’ll see why in part 6...
