Hello all. I started the tahoe update on my iMac last night and forgot about it. Today i come to it and no usb devices are working on the login screen. I've tried a USB 2.0 hub but it hasn't worked either. Both with the hub and the iMac's ports, the (visible red) optic sensor on the mouse is off but when i hold click it turns red. The mouse pops up but i cannot move it. Bluetooth is not working either. I was on sequoia before, and updated because i would always come back to the opencore post install patches being uninstalled. That's when i started the update.
I'm kind of stuck. The iMac isn't connected to the internet but i do have chrome remote desktop installed on it. I'm not sure this things Ethernet port works without the post install patches. SSH is not enabled as far as I'm aware.
I've tried two usb hubs, both result in no mouse control.
Edit: I read the post seeing that tahoe isn't supported after updating.
Is there a way i can fix this? I'd like to keep my data if possible, it was being used as an nvr for my ip camera. (The setup i use requires macos) And I'd like to keep my footage.
