Macbook Pro 2016 vs 2017

Hi there,

I'm trying to decide whether to keep a 2016 touch bar with 16 gigs of RAM or a 2017 touch bar with 8 gigs of RAM. Considering that the 2017 uses a native graphics driver in Sequoia and the 2016 uses the legacy graphics driver, is it better to stick with the 2017 even though it has less RAM?

I don't plan to use the laptop for work or playing games. Just web surfing, email and maybe the plex app. I'm finding it hard to decide - the CPUs are basically a push. Skylake vs Kaby usually is. They both have different physical defects that in the end I'd consider a push, too.

I know mentioning Tahoe right now is akin to playing Stairway to Heaven in a guitar store, but does anyone know if the graphics driver for the 2017 will still be native with Tahoe?
