I recently was handed down an early 2016 MBA 12” from my brother. I plan on using it for web browsing and school work, but the note taking app I use requires a newer macOS than what my laptop will support (currently have Monterey), so this won’t allow iCloud syncing with my iPad/Mac for my notes.
I am not extremely tech savvy, so I don’t really know what real drawbacks I might have besides slightly slower boot times if I decide to update to Sequoia with OCLP. I also don’t know exactly what I will need to install OCLP and Sequoia to my old macbook.
I do have an HP laptop as a backup, but incase I do install sequoia and it does not run well, is there a way to revert back to Monterey if I have a time machine backup?
Hopefully this is not too stupid if a question, any tips or insight is appreciated!
