Clicking “Install macOS” does nothing

I am trying to install macOS Sonoma on my Macbook Pro9,1, and after selecting a language I see the recovery screen with restore, install, safari, disk utility. I was able to open disk utility to format my SSD, but when i select “install macOS Sonoma”, nothing happens. I tried resetting NVRAM, SMC, rebuilding Opencore. Anybody know how to fix this?
