do I update the software through settings or better to do it in oclp?

im using my MacBook Air 2015 running MacOS Sequoia 15.7.3 I just noticed I have an update to 15.7.4 in settings. is it safe to update it like a normal Mac or is it better and safer to do It through OCLP itself?
