I have an old (2008) MacBook Air (2,1) and was hoping to triple boot Snow Leopard, Mavericks, and something else using OCLP on it. However, I've booted into both Catalina (dosDude) and Big Sur (OCLP) installers and in both Disk Utility gives me errors when I try to erase one of my 3 partitions to format it as AFPS:
com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error 49244
I've also gotten some error about not being able to mount the drives (and indeed when I boot into Recovery, none of the partitions are mounted and I cannot mount them when I try to do so manually).
Any ideas? I suspect the problem might be that the entire drive needs to be formatted as AFPS first, and then I should make HFS+ partitions for the older operating systems, but not sure.
