A few things to establish context:
- The card is known working, displays and functions in High Sierra properly, and is using a proper dual mini 6 pin to 8 pin power cable.
- System firmware version is newest available (144.0.0.0.0).
- "Enable GOP" was selected when creating OCLP installer, boot screen visible.
- In system report under Sequoia, the card displays as only having 7MB VRAM which is obviously incorrect. Likely a driver issue.
- OCLP post-install root patches that include polaris driver fail exactly like what appears in this post.
- Attempting to boot into safe mode to install the root patches results in a boot hang at 1/3 progress. Verbose mode attributes the hang to "handle_revert_to_snapshot".
I've been able to troubleshoot my way to this point thus far, but I'm just hitting a wall and can't seem to find a solution. Appreciate any insight or help 🙏
