| Hi Everyone!! I have been researching/watching endless youtube videos/reading all the threads, but can't seem to figure out the way I should go about updating my MBP 2013. I've just purchased a MBP M5 but I would like to keep the 2013 running for my kids to use for school/games/browsing etc. It needs a new battery and I was thinking of upgrading the SSD for more storage space so I don't have to bother with deleting to clear space. It's still running Mojave and to update to Big Sur I will have to delete my Adobe CS5 apps. They're causing some kind of problem... My question is, in what order do I proceed and is it worth going down the OCLP path? Should I update to Big Sur => replace battery & SSD => upgrade to latest OS with OCLP? And which OS is best for this model? I've been seeing mixed feedback about Ventura vs Sonoma etc. If anyone knows of any youtube videos that would be helpful I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
