Hello.
I have this 27" late 2013 iMac (i5, 32 GB, 2gb GPU) with a broken internal HD. Right now I'm using Catalina on an external SSD (SanDisk extreme) and It's way better than the old HD.
I was wondering if upgrading to Ventura would be an overkill for the usb2 port or if it could work (of course not as fast as internal sata).
I also considered opening it, but aside from the cost of the kit, I'd also like to avoid the risk of breaking the glass. A professional installation would be too expensive for such an old Mac.
Thanks
