Hi, I have an old macbook 2008 but no battery. I would like to use it, however, the firmware limits the CPU speed. As I understand there is some function for avoiding this in OCLP. Can I use it when running a native system (os 10.11 in my case)? Or do I need to upgrade to an OCLP supported OS? Or, are there another workaround this problem? As the mac only has 4gb memory, id like to avoid upgrading the OS if I can.
