I have a 2017 intel iMac and am wondering how to run Bootcamp alongside Opencore Legacy Patcher. In the past I have had opencore running with Sonoma, however could not get Bootcamp to partition and work. I'm aware there are some guides on doing this, however with my version of Mac the option to launch bootcamp was not available, it simply would not work.
I haven't been able to find guides that launch bootcamp outside of the bootcamp window which doesn't appear for me... I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place tho so wanted ask for help here!
Since bootcamp uses the EFI bootloader is there any way at all to get both working at the same time?
I previously tried running windows off the dortania guides, creating a windows usb and using virtual boxes but none have worked for me and have since wiped my drive and started fresh.
I currently have a clean Ventura OS - I have bootcamp set up and working but no OCLP yet.
TLDR: how can I keep my windows bootcamp partition when installing OCLP again or is there a way to use bootcamp after OCLP is installed?
Any guides would be appreciated!
