So I updated a 2013 iMac 27" to run macOS Sonoma. Used external Sata SSD for macOS Sonoma. Had trouble with installation while previous operating system on internal mechanical hard disk drive was present. Once previous system was deleted, I was able fully install macOS Sonoma on the SSD and migrated User's account. Ran Time Machine backup to external WD passport drive. iMac boot fine without backup being attached. Any recommendations to fix? TIA!
