(user error, please help) Mid 2009 13-inch Macbook Pro. I tried to uninstall opencore through erasing drive and using internet recovery, now recovery says that it can't continue the installation because it can't download files.

I wanted to reinstall mac os through Option+Command+R. I did what the guide says (erase disk) and now when i click reinstall mac os it says "Installation requires downloading important content. That content can't be downloaded at this time. Try again later." I later realised it said reinstall Big Sur (which my macbook doesnt support, that's why i used opencore) Wifi works and i'm connected through ethernet. Only later did i realise that my mac doesn't support internet recovery. I don't want to go to apple support because they will tell me to buy a new macbook or scream at me for using opencore. I don't have an alternative macbook but i can make a mac os vm. Please help.
