Moving to a Native Mac: The End of the OCLP Journey

Transitioning from Patched Intel to Native Apple Silicon

Congratulations on your new Mac! Moving from a 'patched' experience to an officially supported one is a big step. Here is how to retire your OCLP machine.

Final Steps:

  1. Migration: Use Migration Assistant to move your data, but be careful not to migrate system-level OCLP kexts to your new Mac.
  2. Legacy Machine: Don't throw away your OCLP Mac! It makes a great secondary machine for HomeBridge, a file server, or a Linux testing bed.
  3. Thank the Team: The OCLP project is run by volunteers. If the tool served you well for years, consider a small donation to the Dortania team.

Original Question: "Guys sorry but this is the end of my time using oclp because I have a new Mac and that Mac is compatible officially with macOS Tahoe so this is the end I’m not going to use oclp anymore, thank you oclp for everthing you’re big……….."

😖😭😢
