HP Prodesk G3 600: Almost stable macOS Tahoe
| Hi everyone. Hope you all are doing well. almost 3 months ago i wanted to venture into the world of hackintoshes. however i couldn't due to work and time(literally first line on dortania guide). However almost a month ago i did get the time and hence installed sequoia on my PC. Had hours of debugging and literally took me a week to reach the recovery environment. but at the end i did it. I created a EFI folder using the computer in my head, didn't work so well so i tried opencore simplify and guess what also didn't work so well. so i used OC simplify's EFI as a base and then tweaked it forever. Although i did release that at the end both my base EFI and this new one were almost the same. But ehh it at least works. The thing about hackintoshing isn't using the macos( a big part of it is though). it is about making the software run on a machine it wasn't supposed too. The amount of info and debugging you gain from this process is so good. thanks to the dortania guide and huge reddit posts of the past i did eventually get to install it. So I made a repo on github for my config. I hope that another person wandering in future will come to this post and check out my repo(my first real repo as well!). But again i don't want you to lazily use my EFI, create it yourself, for yourself. I tried other people's EFI and it doesn't work. Something can always go wrong. However it still can be a good reference if you are stuck somewhere while creating your own EFI.
