I’m installing macOS Ventura on an iMac 21.5” Mid 2011 using OpenCore Legacy Patcher.
During the installation, I got an error message saying that the installation failed. After that, another window appeared called “macOS Update Assistant”, with a progress bar that never moves and seems completely stuck.
For reference, the iMac has 20 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and the original GPU.
I waited for a long time but there is no progress at all. I’m not sure if it’s safe to let it continue or if I should force shut down and start over.
Has anyone experienced this issue on a 2011 iMac with Ventura and OCLP? Any advice on how to properly recover from this or continue the installation would be really appreciated.
