Can someone explain (or point me to docs) on how to apply minor Sequoia patches using a USB thumb drive without overwriting the full OS?
Background:
I have a macbook 11,3 (late 2013 15") running OCLP. It has been sitting idle since early last year, and is currently on Sequoia 15.2.
I updated OCLP and installed the update to disk/rebooted. Mac Settings says there is an os update, but when navigating to Software Update, it just spins looking for the update update.
I've read you need to install the minor updates (in this case 15.2 -> 15.7.5) via a USB drive, but have only ever done that for a major OS upgrade. I couldn't find docs on how to do the minor update without overwriting the full OS and apps/docs.
Note: Since this machine is on it's own VLAN and used only for a 3D printer, I am not logged into icloud with my ID.
