- Check Kexts: Update all helper kexts (Lilu, VirtualSMC) in your EFI partition.
Original Question: "Help! Pls"
Hello everyone ,I really need some help with my 12" MacBook Retina. I installed macOS Sonoma on it and everything works perfectly.
The issue is that I also had Windows 10 installed in dual boot. While trying to remove Windows 10, I accidentally deleted the OpenCore EFI partition.
Now I no longer have my bootable USB drive to start macOS properly and restore the bootloader. Unfortunately, I also don’t have a second Mac available to recreate a USB installer or rebuild it.
Would anyone with a similar 12" MacBook Retina setup be able to share a compatible OpenCore EFI folder, or explain how I could recreate it easily?
It would really help me a lot. Thank you so much in advance for any help 🙏
