 | I have a macbook pro late 2013 running on monterey 12.7.6 that is still snappy to date which is amazing but it does get hot after 30mins, I researched and found out that undervolting + thermal paste replacement would do good for this issue. The thermal paste is on its way and now I have a problem with undervolting. I have tried voltageshift but i couldn't even get it to work, it says "can't be opened because apple cannot check it for malicious software". Does anyone have or know of another software for undervolting?, Have any of you tried to undervolt an old mac?. I dont want to upgrade yet, I just dont have money set aside for it and I think i can still rock this beauty for another 2 years. Help me pls..... [link] [comments] |
