How to Fix OCLP-Plus Hybrid Installation Errors
Using third-party modifications of OpenCore Legacy Patcher (like OCLP-Plus) can cause system instability and block official updates.
Restore Guide:
- Uninstall Custom Patches: Open OCLP-Plus, go to Post-Install Root Patches, and click Revert Root Patches.
- Download Official OCLP: Download the genuine OpenCore Legacy Patcher from the official GitHub repository.
- Rebuild EFI: Run the official app, click Build and Install OpenCore to overwrite the custom EFI, reboot, and apply the official root patches.

Works great except still original Airport/Bluetooth cards so no Airplay or Airdrop
OCLP Plus 3.2.1 installed over the top
Also works but …. Jerky mouse movement and no onboard sound (fair enough - it’s for MacOS Trasho 26.fkkup not Sequoia.
But…. AirPlay works on my MacBook Pro and my HomePod from her now !! Seriously WTF !! (Still no Airdrop due to current Airport/Bluetooth cards)
Added OCLP 2.5.0 nightly EFI and rebooted
Mouse glitch gone, onboard sound back AND AirPlay still working!!
My iMac is 17 years old on 10th May this year - I’m upgrading her Airport card as a birthday present to her so she can finally Airdrop and use Bluetooth 4.0
I love OCLP and how I can hybrid/frankenstein the fkk out of my Apple stuff with it x
