Resolution steps:

  1. Update Bootloader: Ensure you are using the latest version of OpenCore or OCLP.
  2. Reset NVRAM: Reboot your Mac, and select Reset NVRAM in the boot menu.
  3. Check Kexts: Update all helper kexts (Lilu, VirtualSMC) in your EFI partition.

Original Question: "2016 MBP TouchBar. From Sonoma to Sequoia ?"

Hello guys. Decided to keep my Mac for one more year but I'm thinking of upgrading to Sequoia to keep getting security updates.

I want to clean install Sequoia but from what I've read that would result in the loss of touchbar and touch ID. Can someone guide me in which would be the correct way to do a clean install of Sequoia and keep touchbar/touch ID support ?
