Best macOS Version for Older MacBooks and iMacs
Choosing the right macOS version for Core 2 Duo and older i5/i7 Macs ensures a stable experience without slowing down the machine.
Upgrade Recommendations:
- Core 2 Duo Macs (2009-2010): We recommend macOS Monterey or Ventura. macOS Sequoia is not recommended due to heavy performance degradation.
