Installing macOS 16 Tahoe on Unsupported Intel Macs

macOS 16 Tahoe drops support for all Intel Macs. To run it, you must use the latest compatible developer build of OCLP.

Installation Guide:

  1. Backup System: Create a full Time Machine backup before attempting the install.
  2. Disable Secure Boot: Boot into recovery and turn off Secure Boot via Startup Security Utility on T2 Macs.
  3. Apply Nightly Patches: Open OCLP, build the EFI, write it to USB, install Tahoe, and run post-install patches for graphics and Wi-Fi.
