How to Fix OCLP-Plus Hybrid Installation Errors

Using third-party modifications of OpenCore Legacy Patcher (like OCLP-Plus) can cause system instability and block official updates.

Restore Guide:

  1. Uninstall Custom Patches: Open OCLP-Plus, go to Post-Install Root Patches, and click Revert Root Patches.
  2. Download Official OCLP: Download the genuine OpenCore Legacy Patcher from the official GitHub repository.
  3. Rebuild EFI: Run the official app, click Build and Install OpenCore to overwrite the custom EFI, reboot, and apply the official root patches.

Original Question: "OCLP-Plus 3.2.0 Issue occurring on my 2020 MacBook Air:"

I'm trying to install macOS Tahoe with OCLP-Plus 3.2.0, but when I select my language for Recovery, Recovery doesn't respond, so when I enable VoiceOver with the Triple-Power Button method, and hit the "X" to disable it, it shows me a gray screen showing the Apple Logo and "Language Chooser" on the top-left corner of my Mac. And when I try clicking one, it shows me the Beach Ball Of Death. Doesn't stop. Does anyone know a fix to this? Please let me know. I'm trying various fix methods, like resetting NVRAM with sudo nvram-c, and recreating the Installer within also rebuilding the EFI Partition.
