Ok so I have a Mid-2014 MacBook Pro that is really decent. I mean, it runs sequoia well through OCLP; however, would you recommend something lower? For reference it has an i7 4th Gen, 16GB DDR3, and an NVIDIA 750M which is non-metal and can make Monterey+ lag, so idk. It natively supports up to Big Sur but that's sadly too outdated for me. The computer does have good BootCamp support for windows 10 but I was wanting to use iMessage and FaceTime. Also, linux drivers for the 750M are quite weak.
