Restoring Mouse Modifiers on Intel Macs
If right-click and Option-click suddenly stop working on macOS Sequoia 15.7.5, it's a conflict between the Legacy HID patches and the new security update.
The Fix:
- Revert and Re-apply: Open OCLP, click 'Post-Install Root Patch', and select Revert Root Patches. Reboot, then open OCLP again and re-apply the patches. This forces the system to re-link the HID kexts.
- Accessibility Reset: Go to System Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control and toggle 'Alternate pointer actions' off and on.
- Terminal Fix: Run
killall ControlCenterin Terminal. Sometimes the process managing mouse gestures hangs during the 15.7.5 update.
