2013 27" 14,2 iMac: are network speeds better in Sequoia than in Sonoma?

I recently had fibre installed to the house and network speeds, though better than ADSL on the iMac, are poor. Wifi speeds are about 1/5 of an iPad used in front of the iMac (55 Mbps vs 280 Mbps), interestingly powerline ethernet is exactly the same 55 speed, I would expect it to be slower than wifi.

Support for the Broadcom hardware in the iMac was ceased in Sonoma and OCLP added support back and so I am guessing that it is what it is and I cannot expect any further improvements in Sonoma/OCLP.

I have redone root patches, changed the country code and reset my router, none of which had any effect and I cannot see any networking tweaks in the OCLP configuration dialogues.

Is the situation any different in Sequoia? I have been holding back on Sequoia as I read mixed reports about its performance on 2013 iMacs and apart from network speed, Sonoma is fine.

Anyone on a 14,2 iMac who can share their network experience?
