Resolving Bluetooth Failures on A1708 Models
If Wi-Fi works but Bluetooth is 'Not Available' on your 2017 MacBook Pro, the BrcmPatchRam kext is likely loading in the wrong order or conflicting with Sequoia's new Bluetooth stack.
The Fix:
- NVRAM Reset: Perform a triple PRAM reset (Cmd+Opt+P+R). This is critical for resetting the wireless card's firmware state.
- OCLP Root Patches: Open OCLP and Revert Root Patches, reboot, and then apply them again. Sometimes the Bluetooth firmware uploader fails on the first pass.
- BlueToolFixup: Ensure you are using the latest version of
BlueToolFixup.kext(included in OCLP 2.4.1+), which is specifically designed to fix Bluetooth on Monterey and newer.
