Enabling Graphics Acceleration in Experimental Tahoe
If you've installed macOS Tahoe on your 2017 MacBook Air and the 'Post-Install Root Patch' button is greyed out, it's because the Intel HD 6000 drivers are not yet integrated into the stable OCLP release.
The Workaround:
- OCLP Nightly: You must use the 'Nightly' or 'Development' branch of OCLP. These versions contain the early work for Tahoe graphics.
- SIP Settings: Ensure System Integrity Protection (SIP) is fully disabled (0x03) in the OCLP settings, or the patcher won't even attempt to show the Tahoe options.
- Warning: Without graphics acceleration, Tahoe will be extremely slow. If the nightly patcher doesn't work, your best option is to revert to Sequoia and wait for a stable OCLP update.
Original Question: "I got Tahoe with oclp plus but gpu root patch does not exist for Tahoe yet help"
