Is macOS Sonoma Worth it on a 2015 8GB MacBook Pro?

Finding the Best OS for 8GB Intel Macs

For a 2015 MacBook Pro with 8GB of RAM, macOS Sonoma can feel a bit heavy due to the increased RAM usage of the new 'Widgets' and 'Wallpaper' features.

Your Best Options:

  1. Ventura (Recommended): Ventura is currently the 'sweet spot'. It's much lighter than Sonoma but still supports almost all modern apps. It will run smoother on your 8GB/128GB spec.
  2. Sonoma (Optional): Only install Sonoma if you absolutely need a specific feature. Be prepared for more frequent 'spinning beachballs' as the system swaps RAM to your small 128GB SSD.
  3. Thermal Tip: If Windows 10 made it work hard, macOS Sonoma will too. Use Macs Fan Control to keep it cool.

I was going to do Open Legacy yesterday but decide against it because specs on my laptop not the best. I did use Bootcamp for run Windows 10 and it run flawless, but I uninstall it because it make my MacBook work harder than usual. I thinking maybe Ventura is better option?
