Specs: i7-7700HQ GTX 1080 16GB DDR4 256GB Nvme drive - High Sierra I was able to get Mojave, and High Sierra installed and they experience the same issue. I removed Mojave, and installed High Sierra. Whenever a password prompt appears the loading wheel will appear and the password prompt will be unresponsive for a moment or two then it disappears and able to use it. I believe this is relating to aggressive down-clock of the CPU as I notice that when it downclocks to 1.3GHZ, is when I experience the loading wheel. Hello everybody, I recently bought a Xiaomi Notebook Air 2018 (i5-8250u + MX150) and waiting it to be delivered. I've seen some guides for the Pro version and I don't think there must be a lot of differences between Hackintosh-ing Air or Pro. I was just thinking: is it possible to install Mojave? Have you done it yet? Is it possible to install an internal WiFi + Bluetooth card (i.e. BCM94352Z)? I just switched from an ASUS GTX 980 to an ASUS RX580 and I’m having trouble getting it to boot properly . I have a dual booted system using clover and i am on High Sierra. I have uninstalled all the drivers on windows and MacOS for NVIDIA card and I disabled inject nvidiaweb in config. I have also tried using HDMI as well as dvid but i just get a black screen. My monitor does not show any sort of image, it remains black and doesn’t even show no signal. I don’t even get the bios screen even thought the fans spin up fine and the card has its rgb lights on so is obviously powered and working. Is there a simple fix to this or do I just have to format everything and start from scratch? Hi all, ​ So i'm currently trying to duel boot mac OS High sierra and windows 10, windows 10 is on my C drive and i've created a 400gb partition on my D drive for mac OS. Hi guys! ​ I have successfully installed Mojave with Vanilla method on my laptop, but I'm having problems with it. I'm trying to test out which kexts do I need for my system to work perfectly. I still haven't installed Clover on my HDD and haven't started the post installation, because I don't want to screw up my clean install. I have limited access to my friend's Macbook, where I can make bootable USBs. ​ I've tryed Rehabman's config.plist file, but it didn't work for me, I wasn't able to load the installer. I'm gonna start this off by saying that this system is going to be a core2quad build. Full specs: Q6600 Asus P5W-DH Deluxe 8gb DDR2@800MHz EVGA GTX 570 HD No other fancy peripherals, may throw an SSD in if it works To clarify, this is to learn more than to use as I enjoy this sort of tinkering. I can get a copy of the latest version of OS X but I'm not sure if it will work, due to the age. I care little about how it will perform, more about if it will work. I've seen one source on a hackintosh website of a guy claiming to get a core2 CPU to work with Mojave, but as it's only one I'm sceptical, although his instructions look credible. No matter what I try, I cannot get my NVMe drive to boot into Clover. The drive works fine. I can copy mount, copy data, install to, etc. It will not boot from it, though. The only way I can get into OSX from it is if I boot into Clover from a USB and then select my NVMe OSX install. I've Googled this a bunch and have seen people talking about potentially patching something, but adding a kext doesn't seem to make sense when I can't even get into Clover. FWIW - Mobo is ASUS z370. Apple has removed over 700 apps from the App Store in China, according to local reports. On the morning of November 27th, the online Apple App Store has suspended downloads including Pinto, Sogou Map, Sogou Navigation, Togo Car, Chasing Artifact, Xunfei Reading, Yue Run A batch of applications including circle. According to the statistics of Master Master, Apple suspended a total of 718 app downloads in China on the same day. I'm planning my first PC build and I'm hoping to run macOS and Windows on it. I'm thinking of using a GTX 1060 6gb, and was wondering what CPU and motherboard I should use with it? I was looking at the i5 8400, the i5 6600k, or even lower tier ones. I'm not sure which one will let the 1060 run free, but also not have too much wasted CPU capacity. manual, automatic and lid sleep is now working (using 2 custom SSDT-GPRW and PSTWAK files) and Clover patches. Lid wake also works, and everything functions after sleep. I have tried converting it to GPT in windows prior to booting the installer, I have tried AHCI mode, I've disable virtualization, I have tried to use the vanilla installer with just a clover UEFI bootloader and still can't see it. After installing kexts everything was working great, I connected my magic keyboard and mouse but on next day when I started my PC I was unable to use my mouse/kb. What do you think of this proposal? I've never made one of these, and I'm wondering if what I'm proposing is more trouble than it's worth. Credits for the original Clover files: https://hackintosher.com/builds/gigabyte-z370-aorus-gaming-7-hackintosh-build-guide/ (Bios differed a bit, but everything else was the same) I originally used the iGPU 630 for some time. I used Dual Monitor, which wasn't quite supported (I couldn't boot with both plugged in, so I had to reattach the second one after boot). Everything else worked great. I recently wanted to update to Mojave, and to do that I updated Clover first, which caused my screens to be "Projectors", mirrored screens and no way to edit that in the settings. That finally pushed me over to upgrade to an AMD Graphics card, and I don't regret that choice. I can boot with 2 screens, and the update went smoothly.
