I trying to make a hack on my Dell i3 laptop. It did boot to the installer with OpenCore 0.7.2 But I want to make an offline installer on Windows (I don't have access to real mac). I tried Niresh, Olarila, BDU methods but any of them didn't even boot. So my question is, Can I make a hack with an ice lake laptop? Hey Everyone! I'm a bit new to "hackintoshing" as i've never successfully done it aside from a virtual machine on a real mac. I've used every single hackintosh pre-made image I could use. I am trying to install on my old-ish toshiba satellite L655D with an AMD Athlon II P340 2.2GHz and a whopping 3GB Ram. I've tried niresh images and hackintosh zone images but nothing works. I only get into the the chameleon bootloader. I'm always on here so I have fast replies so feel free to ask any questions! So I downloaded it from apple's website and used macOS Catalina installed on vmWare Workstation to create a bootable usb. The BIOS supports UEFI boot and I reached the OS selection screen and selected Install OSX Yosemite. I reached OS install utility but when I click reinstall OSx it doesn't do anything. When I checked the logs It says Dependency com.apple.iokit.IOHIDSystem fallback to com.apple.iokit.IOHIDFamily succeeded. Please fix your kext! What can I do about it. But I can successfully install Niresh Yosemite(I know distros are not recommended). So can I install the distro and convert it to original and also convert clover to opencore, is it possible or what can I do to fix the error or should I try with another macO...

Hello community, This is my first time using Reddit! How are you all? Target: old lap which i want to convert into hakintosh. What ive done so far: installed olarilla Vanilla Bigsur with opencore. Installed. Successful Wifi: successful Bluetooth: successful Issues: Audio, laptop touchpad and video not working. So issue is that the gfx is showing as intel hd 4400 but 4 MB, it should be 1536 MB. Things ive tried. EFI folders from different chipsets from olarila. No go Tried config.plist file with clover and assigning id 4400 inject ID 0x04128086. No go. Says oc needs vault not available error (yes i did managed to make that error go away by going into security tab and assigning vault as optional, but still system wont boot to mac os.) Also, i tried all of that list for haswell desktop,notebook etc. nothing changes that 4mb of gfx. Tried manually putting in the device id in Open Core that i obtained by hackintool>patch>selecting appropriate gpu ids……no go Updating Lilu an...

I tried to hackintosh my Laptop (hp envy 17) for over a year now, i tried everything from ideneb (Leopard) and hazard (Snow Leopard) to niresh catalina and and big sur , i dont care what version il take snow Leopard or something, i dont care how Old it is, i just want to get it to work. As stated in the title I have a 4GB USB stick with contents I would like to recover, I went through the ordeal of installing Niresh's Mavericks 10.9 in virtualbox 6.1 along with Virtualbox Extension Pack 6.1.18r142142. After OSX installation the USB drive popped up in the Desktop and was able to type in the password and remove the encryption, then was able to view its contents, after that I ejected the drive because I thought I would now be able to access it through any other OS (Windows 10 or Linux), unfortunately when connecting to any of my other machines the drive is still not recognized by the its native file managers. Not sure if I messed it up by removing the encryption, since now even though the stick is connected and recognized in the terminal I can't get it to pop up in the desktop once again, I can see the USB state is being displayed as Captured in virtualbox, not sure if it might be related, any help would be much appreciated. My plan is just to backup my cont...

Could anyone help me, i always wanted a perfect hackintosh but i just spend half a day and couldnt fix the graphics being only 4mb and the wifi and ethernet arent working. My graphics is an intel hd 520, CPU intel core i5-6200u and 500gb hdd, i installed this using the niresh mojave. Also whenever i turn the hackintosh on a pop saying some extensions are disabled panic medic boot, i think this disable issue is causing the graphics not being 1500mb cause i have followed alot of troubleshooting steps. Want to fix what I can before I use it as my main OS. I have downloaded an EFI file from someone with the same PC and very similar overall components. Almost identical. So, I need to how and where to put the file (files). I tried to obtain Multibeast for post installation; However; I have yet to get a response back after registration. Being that I'm technically booting from my thumb drive, do I add or replace files there within the Clover EFI? If so, where exactly? Right now I can boot, use mouse and keyboard, but not much else. To connect to internet I have to use ethernet. The EFI files I have should give me everything I need but I'm not totally sure. Seems like years back when I did this I boot...
