My computer went to shit and started boot looping after I moved everything into my new case, and the shop I took it too said it was most likely my motherboard or cpu (they didnt have any AMD parts to test either on which I thought was strange but whatever) and from what I’ve experienced it’s most likely my motherboard so I need to find a new one that’s preferably matx. Any recommendations that won’t fail on me after two months of use? I'm brand new to PC building and just created my first build, but it's not booting up properly (details below). Here are the parts: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: Aorus b450m RAM: 8g GPU: GTX 1650 3 fans Case: phantex eclipse p350x case PSU: 600w The issue is that it does not turn on my monitor. The cpu cooler fan starts spinning and then stops. The motherboard troubleshooting indicator (red LED lights) show that it is a cpu problem. It initially worked when I had a Gigabyte GA-A320M motherboard, but I wanted to have more than two fans and I did not know I could just buy a splitter. So I got a new motherboard that supported more than two fans. Everytime I wanted to turn on my computer, I would have to turn off the computer and the power supply switch. So I had recently just bought a pc (1660 ti and a i5 10400f), and I’ve been getting some fps drops/stutters pretty frequently in Fortnite where I would drop from 200+ fps all the way down to 60 and under on mid-range quality settings. And on Warzone, when I’m loading into a game or on the plane It would go down to 1fps and 996 ping for 30 seconds, and then go back to a buttery smooth 100fps on pretty decent quality settings🤔. Now I tried to change up my performance settings through the nvidia and windows control panel, and it made a slight difference but In fps, but Im still having the frame drops. Now I think that this is due to my ram because I have 1x8gb 2600mhz ram, and since it’s single channel and only 2600mhz I think that it’s bottle-necking my gpu and cpu which is causing those fps drops and stutter in my games. I'm currently running an i7 8700 running on a z370 motherboard, and I've been thinking about upgrading to a 10700k (and getting a z490 board to run it, of course). However I've been wondering if it's worth spending the extra money to get the 10700k. I'm planning on building a new PC and I'm not sure which PSU I should go, a 850W or 1000W (Corsair's RM850/1000X). Reading other people's questions on this same topic, I found somewhat mixed answers, others saying 850W should be just fine for this type of build, and others recommending strongly to go for the 1000W just to be sure and to hit that 50% usage sweetspot performance. Do you guys have any suggestions to add? Is the 850W be perfectly fine or should I just pony up the 50 bucks extra for the 1000W and never worry about the power supply ever again. 9700k, ROG Strix z390i, 1080ti, 16gb ddr4 3600hz Trying to install High Sierra. Am using windows to create an online installer, macrecovery.py to download the files. have checked my folders and sanity checked my config.plist. Was using macrecovery file that was about 450mb, and it would go through the verbose and come up with "CPU halted" and just turn off. This is where I checked the folders and config multiple times and then decided to try redownloading the macrecovery files this time with a different URL, file was about 675mb. Now I get verbose, Apple logo and loading bar then to language chooser but with no window to display any options nor a mouse pointer and the keyboard doesn't work either. Not sure what to do, perhaps try another URL in macrecovery.py? With a different action? Like "-os" or something? The files seem to be the problem though as one works yet other doesn't, even tried just Sierra and had the CPU halted thing... This is far as I...

My Hackintosh is waking up semi-randomly, at ~2 hour intervals, on its own, before going back to sleep after a minute or two. Although the monitor is off all the time. I've come across this error before, on a different Sandy Bridge build that I tried to install High Sierra 10.13.6 on using OpenCore.
