Best motherboard for ryzen 5 3600?
Image
My computer went to shit and started boot looping after I moved everything into my new case, and the shop I took it too said it was most likely my motherboard or cpu (they didnt have any AMD parts to test either on which I thought was strange but whatever) and from what I’ve experienced it’s most likely my motherboard so I need to find a new one that’s preferably matx. Any recommendations that won’t fail on me after two months of use? Damaged CPU?

Tried to boot up my pc but won’t start. Tried checking all the cables and everything seemed fine. Removed CPU and found these markings. Is there by any chance they got damaged. https://ibb.co/gwTmDrV submitted by /u/nervewreck1 [link] [comments] [► Source]

PC not booting :-(
Image
I'm brand new to PC building and just created my first build, but it's not booting up properly (details below). Here are the parts: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: Aorus b450m RAM: 8g GPU: GTX 1650 3 fans Case: phantex eclipse p350x case PSU: 600w The issue is that it does not turn on my monitor. The cpu cooler fan starts spinning and then stops. The motherboard troubleshooting indicator (red LED lights) show that it is a cpu problem. It initially worked when I had a Gigabyte GA-A320M motherboard, but I wanted to have more than two fans and I did not know I could just buy a splitter. So I got a new motherboard that supported more than two fans. Everytime I wanted to turn on my computer, I would have to turn off the computer and the power supply switch. I turned both back on and my monitor wouldn’t work and the CPU red led light was on. I repeated this process twice, sometimes three times, and then it would finally turn on and everything was running smoothly until I put it o...

Question about my fps drops/stutters in my games (any response would be appreciated:)
Image
So I had recently just bought a pc (1660 ti and a i5 10400f), and I’ve been getting some fps drops/stutters pretty frequently in Fortnite where I would drop from 200+ fps all the way down to 60 and under on mid-range quality settings. And on Warzone, when I’m loading into a game or on the plane It would go down to 1fps and 996 ping for 30 seconds, and then go back to a buttery smooth 100fps on pretty decent quality settings🤔. Now I tried to change up my performance settings through the nvidia and windows control panel, and it made a slight difference but In fps, but Im still having the frame drops. Now I think that this is due to my ram because I have 1x8gb 2600mhz ram, and since it’s single channel and only 2600mhz I think that it’s bottle-necking my gpu and cpu which is causing those fps drops and stutter in my games. I also have some theories that it could be my 1660 ti, since it jumps to 100% sometimes when I’m playing my games. I’m just looking for some confirmation that it’s my...

Is it worth upgrading my CPU?
Image
I'm currently running an i7 8700 running on a z370 motherboard, and I've been thinking about upgrading to a 10700k (and getting a z490 board to run it, of course). However I've been wondering if it's worth spending the extra money to get the 10700k. My other components include a 1070ti, 16gb of 2400mhz ram (planning on upgrading this), and a 550w psu (probably going to upgrade this as well). I primarily use my pc for gaming. submitted by /u/flarexe [link] [comments] [► Source]

Finally able to build it!
Image
Here it is! After months of waiting, I was finally able to get the last part I needed. I was able to throw it together with what I had. I'm still looking for a white 3080. Maybe I'll wait till the TI comes out. Edit: I don't have a full desk view, because my cable management outside of the case is a disgrace. Finally upgrading my 6 year old rig, want to make sure everything's good.

As far as i can tell with my little research, this is a pretty good gaming rig Obviously the video card i'm going to have to wait for. As for the PSU, i still have my https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qYTrxr/evga-power-supply-220g20550y1 I'm pretty sure 550 watts is going to be fine for this new build? Any pointers are appreciated :) [PCPartPicker Part List]( https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GqtrCz ) Type|Item|Price :----|:----|:---- **CPU** | [Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor]( https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jHZFf7/intel-core-i9-9900k-36ghz-8-core-processor-bx80684i99900k ) | $390.16 @ Amazon **CPU Cooler** | [Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM SE 63 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler]( https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XzDJ7P/corsair-h100i-rgb-platinum-se-63-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-cw-9060042-ww ) | $169.99 @ Best Buy **Motherboard** | [Asus PRIME Z390-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard]( https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2k3H99/asus-prime-z390-a-atx-lga1151-motherboard-...

Pcpartpicker warning help

Hello, So I'm trying to build my first pc and I was checking if everything in my cart was compatibility. I ran into a warning and was wondering if someone could help me out or explain what's wrong. Warning - "Some AMD B550 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vermeer CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions." As the title states, i recently installed this AIO cooler. I have a ASRock Z390 Phantom gaming 4 mobo, so theres no specific pump headers on it, just CPU_FAN (thats where theyre plugged into). Is there a workaround for this? submitted by /u/SilentXCaspa [link] [comments] [► Source]
