Hi everyone, I’m new here. Just had a quick question. I upgraded my 27” Late 2013 Mac to Sequoia and it looks great! Yesterday I proceeded to install the latest version of photoshop 2026 (which was the reason for upgrading) and I noticed that it does not detect my graphics card at all, I tried installing Photoshop 2021 and it still does not detect the graphics card thus deeming the iMac incompatible. The trouble is that before upgrading to sequoia, I had Photoshop 2022 which never gave me this problem and all of its functions worked. Because of the issue with not detecting the GPU, openGL is not working and several features within Photoshop now do not work. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a fix for it. Either to downgrade to a stable version that would detect the card or recommend some sort of driver update or a fix that would get rid of this problem? So I had Sequoia installed on this laptop without a problem on the original ssd. I wanted more space so I got an ssd with an adapter on it to install. Now I cannot get Sequoia installed again. Basically I can install Big Sur without a problem from internet recovery. So the new drive is working. The sequoia install freezes when I select it unless I reset the nvram. Then I can bot into the install. I format the drive and run sequoia install and when it reboots it just freezes on the Apple logo. Installing Big Sur now and going to try a different usb stick. Maybe it dosen't like this one even thought it is the one I used with the original drive. Is there anything that I need to do because of the new drive. I have a MacBook Pro early 2015 that was running Sequoia thanks to OCLP. I knew that there was a risk I could mess up something but I decided to update OCLP. On the following reboot, it didn’t work. I tried pressing Command R but I couldn’t load the disk utility or start in recovery mode. I tried resetting the NVRAM. Still couldn’t boot the OS. Then I tried creating a usb drive with Sequoia from another Mac. I rebooted and pressed Alt, it can see the usb drive but if I try to load Macintosh HD or “Install macOS Sequoia” I always get an error. At the moment I can’t fix the problem. Hey everyone, I installed macOS Ventura on my Early 2014 iMac (27”) using OpenCore Legacy Patcher. The system boots fine, but my USB keyboard and mouse don’t work inside macOS. I'm currently using OCLP 2.4.1 to run Sequoia 15.7.3 on two MacBook Air's and one MacBook Pro, none of which support Sequoia without OCLP. All three run flawlessly, and I've had no issues that I can detect. I've been able to do "in-place upgrades" (directly from within Settings) from older releases to newer releases of Sequoia without incident (but of course I have to re-install root patches after the upgrade completes). In a video I just saw, Anson Alexander upgraded from an older version of Sequoia to a newer version of Sequoia by using OCLP to download and create a MacOS installer, then installed the Installer using OCLP to disk, and then rebooted to apply the upgrade, then re-installed root patches when that was done. Is there something I missing about just doing an in-place upgrade from within Settings? Is there a reason why his method is superior? Or are we effectively doing the same thing? Hi I looking for some suggestions on how to stop the constant notification that the Tahoe upgrade is available to be downloaded. I decided, after trying Sequoia, that I would stick to Senoma, it runs better on my 27" late 2012 iMac. I have turned off auto updates & beta updates, but I'm constantly getting the notification about the update being available. Due to my stupidity and lack of time, I decided to update from ventura to the latest os version just from the settings. It obviously didn’t work, and now when i try to enter my password to open the desktop, neither my mouse nor keyboard are working, so i physically cannot enter the password. Even when i try to open my another disk without OPCL, it just has an infinite loading screen. I ran a first aid on all of the volumes, everything is okay. I was also thinking to use time mashing but i have no back ups at all, so i guess this won’t work for me. Does anyone have any ideas how i can fix it? I don’t care about loosing files or etc. I tried to reset it to the factory settings, but it doesn’t allow me to do so (erase button doesn’t work and using terminal gives some error). I have a problem on my imac14,1 which is on sequoia 14.7.3 currently. It was working and suddenly i was gonna update and do some post install root patches. It required a file called processorAccelerate and i couldnt do anything because im not that smart into these stuff. As far as i know it is the only file missing while the rest are there in place. Hello, r/OpenCoreLegacyPatcher ! I just got my first ever MacBook Pro. It has a 8GB Stick of RAM and a 500GB SSD and it is installed with MacOS Mojave (Ver. 10.14.2) on it. I am sort of new to the Apple UX/UI and all as I mostly use Windows Computers (7-11). I just want to use it as sort of a fun daily-driver to take wherever I travel! I have heard about OCLP before, and I want to give it a try on my MBP. I just have few questions about it: Which OS install would be recommended to install on this machine? Root patching should now work again with OCLP automatically downloading the 15.6.1 version instead. This is a temporary solution and the devs will continue to work to rectify the problem with MetallibSupportPkg 15.7.x in the meantime. Hi I currently have Sequina running via OGLP and want to also create a partition to run Windows 11. Clearly can’t use Boot Assistant but lots of alternative routes available online. The issue I have is that they all require a partition on the disk to install, but the instructions to partition the OGLP disk all fail for me for some reason (-8 error code). I’m sure the disk isn’t corrupted and FirstAid on the disk confirms this. What am I missing? The drive was encrypted when Sequina installed after formatting. Hey all, Did an update to one of my old iMacs with Open Core Legacy Patcher. Instead of going straight to the Apple, it loads up with the screens below, waits and then loads to the Apple.
