I have an old MacBook Air 7,2 with an Intel Core i5 and 8GB of RAM. The last supported version is Monterey, but Safari is pretty much obsolete at this point and Chrome says it won’t receive updates anymore.
After installing Sequoia, I could notice a difference in responsiveness and performance - its noticeably slower (even with a clean install). All of this was expected. That said, which version (Ventura or Sonoma) would yield better performance?
My tasks are not heavy, but I like a responsive enough OS that isn’t unusable for the first few minutes.
