Hey all, Im building a Hackintosh/PC with an i9 9900k and a MSI Radeon Vega 64 8GB. 16GB of Ripjaws RAM using the ASUS ROG STRIX Z370 Motherboard (As suggested for hackintosh build). My cooling will be a corsair h100i platinum. Theres a guide online (tonymacx86 pastrychef) to build this and the components seem like they'll work fine with each other. I know I know, the z370 has been replaced by the z390, Im just following the guide and the guy says its fine with the i9. I really like the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX / ATX case and was wondering if this setup will run way too hot for what I'm using (Considering ive heard it gets hot, but I've also heard its fine as long as you set up you front mount your radiator). Is there any difference in airflow between the mATX/ ATX Version? Which one is better overall? ​ Its one of my favorite case designs and honestly I really dislike the squarish look of a lot of cases on the market now. When my Mojave machine boots and enters the clover boot menu there are three boot options. One for Windows, one for Mojave and one which just says ‘Boot Windows from [BLANK]’. I want to hide the latter boot option. I am dual booting from using two different ssd and one hard drive for Windows for mass storage. I have already managed to hide boot entries like recovery or prebooter using hide volumes in clover configurator but I don’t know how to hide the blank Windows boot option since there’s no volume name attached to it. I have completed a successful hackintosh using only this guide https://internet-install.gitbook.io/macos-internet-install/requirements ... It’s an internet type install. It’s Clover Vanilla and you can do your own kexts. Best part, it’s windows only so no need for another MacOS to download anything. Is there any way to move clover or download clover to the boot drive so I can boot it from the drive rather than the usb stick? Hi everyone, I just found out a minor issue with my Hackintosh build. When I turn off and on my monitor the screen does not come back (black screen). I'm on the latest Mojave with Sapphire nitro+ RX Vega 64. Complete details of my build can be found here . My sleep functions perfectly on both Darkwake=1 and Darkwake=0. Hi. So I am a noob. I just installed Mojave on a Dell Inspiron 13z 5323. The system is operational (I am using Mojave as we speak). Problem is, I can't boot without going into Clover, then changing to config2. Hi I just bought Asus Prime Z390-A with an i7-9700k after having i5-7600k with Asus Prime Z270-A. I have the problem that the installation won’t complete it freezes on 2 minutes left and won’t reboot to complete the installation. I have searched for a solution to this, but none have solved it. I replaced the config.plist file with one from a person with the exact same computer as me. He had a successful install. When in the Clover boot loader, it shows no boot drives, but shows options for shell, Clover boot options, etc. I replaced it with the default config.plist file and the drives show up just fine. I was having troubles booting to the macOS installer and figured if this guy had a successful install, I would, too. Doing my first Hackintosh on my old laptop ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501VW-US71 with this Vanilla build . ​ Clover loads up and when I select the option to 'install Boot macOS from OS X Base System' the Apple logo shows up but it gets stuck there (left the pc up for 4 hours before I shut it down). ​ Would the problem be with my kexts or my config.plst file? ​ And whichever one is the problem how do I fix the issue? Does anyone have the same motherboard with functional wifi and Bluetooth? Either this board isn't compatible with Broadcom or I have really bad luck with 2 non-functional BCM9460CS2 + Adapter and now a DW1560 (BCM943352Z). These cards aren't even detected in windows either. I know the slot is okay because I'm the stock wifi card and running windows fine. First of all, thanks to RehabMan for all the time he has put in to make all the tools/patches/etc. for laptops. I tried to follow his guide exactly and I cannot seem to boot with the config.plist and SSDTs that the script installed. Instead I now have to boot off of the install USB that I originally had. In verbose mode the last thing I get is "loaded kexts: none" and then it automatically reboots. If anyone could help me out and tell me what I did wrong I would greatly appreciate that. So I am following the tony x mac follow through on high sierra, all steps go to plan until OS is installing and system reboots once half way through, I try to boot off UEFI USB(High sierra installer) and all I get is a blank screen with a pulsing underscore, and I try to boot off of the target drive and its saying nothing is there. Now I don't know what to do.. I need help, i need a laptop where i can throw osx on because i really (i know i need a wifidongle). Apple is planning to update its iPhone with a triple-lens camera this year and a rear-facing 3D camera in 2020, according to a new Bloomberg report. The third lens will be used to capture a larger field of view and enable a wider range of zoom. Sources tell the site that it's possible that Apple could use the additional pixels to introduce a feature that would automatically fit in a subject that was initially cut off.
