I am using two LG 4K monitors connected by HDMI to a Sapphire RX580 Pulse. OS is 10.15.2. SMBIOS is MacPro6,1. Lilu and WEG are most recent versions being injected by newest release of Clover. The monitors will not wake from sleep and stay black after the system sleeps. After much banging my head against the wall, I have learned I need to disable AGDC. However, the output from "ioreg -lw0 | grep CFG_USE_AGDC" is "CFG_USE_AGDC" = Yes. AGDC is still enabled which causes the 4K monitors to not wake from sleep. The release notes for WEG 1.15 state "added automatic CFG_USE_AGDC disabling to avoid constant issues with 4K display sleep and broken HDMI/DP ports". Confusingly, the manual under FAQ.Radeon.en.md says: "Why can a highres DisplayPort-connected display fail to wake (e.g. some LG 4K models)? Sometimes AGDC configuration preference could be the case. For 4K and lower it makes sense to try disabling it by passing CFG,CFG_USE_AGDC — False (00) via ...

Has anyone managed to get DisplayPort working on High Sierra? I’m trying to run 1440p and 144hz, but it won’t work without DisplayPort 1.2 and have to switch to 1.1 (which doesn’t have enough bandwidth for the 144hz) to get an image. Many thanks in advance. Fenvi card I planned to use for ASRock ITX/TB3 is too big . The available height inside the I/O shroud is 40mm. The width of this card is 25mm. Hey, i have a High Sierra hackintosh that i built earlier this year, i just bought an additional SSD to install Windows. Basically i want to have a dual boot, but on separate drives. I want it so that on boot up Clover gives me the option to choose between Mac or Windows. What are the risks? What are some key mistakes to avoid? What are the best guides/resources on the internet for this? Are my specs compatible? So recently I've been wanting to build a dual boot Hackintosh with the pc that I built a couple of months ago which has an R5 3600 with a 5700xt on an ASRock b450 pro4 motherboard running windows 10 which has 2 ssd's. I do own a late 2017 macbook pro running the latest version of catalina. My biggest question is I know that there are some features not working with a ryzentosh so I was wondering if I should just wait until some of those features start working? The features I'm talking about are those of imessage and facetime as well as the 100% psu draw and maybe others that im not aware of. Or maybe these have already been fixed/patched? Hi! I just finished the download of Mojave on my laptop (Acer aspire vn7-792G) (followed the internet installation guide) and when it finally completed and rebooted, it ended up on a screen, first talking about how it couldn’t boot because it was going to corrupt windows or something like that, and then, because « the installer ressources couldn’t be found ». Is there something I did wrong with my partitioning ? Upgrading from GTX970 to RX580, so doing a fresh install of Mojave. I seem to almost have everything in order, but only two of the three monitors are being used. All three are good on boot and work in Win10. The monitor that's not being used is seen by Displays in System Preferences and System Information. Unplugging/replugging the power and video cables doesn't fix the issue. This is a fresh install and EFI folder based on the Vanilla guide in the side bar. Some SMBIOS settings were copied over from the working El Capitan EFI folder. I'm guessing I have something wrong in Devices . I decided to do a clean vanilla install of Catalina on my system, and so far so good. However, I am having an issue that I was not experiencing with my Mojave and previous macOS on this same system: when I put the system to sleep, it doesn't wake. Everything does power on when I try to wake it from sleep, but the screen boots up black, requiring me to do a manual power off and power on of the computer. I am not entirely sure what the issue could be as I have spent a few hours trying to figure out what could be the problem. I figured to help, I have attached my /Library/Extensions/ kexts and also my entire Clover folder if it helps better diagnose the problems. I've been having this issue with sleep mode in Mojave. Display and OS X go into sleep mode just fine but when I try and wake up OS X everything turns on and works aside from the monitor itself. The monitor displays a message of no input detected. I've tried turning the monitor on/ off again and unplugging the display port cable and plugging it back in. Both methods haven't solved the issue for me. If I just have the display go to sleep but not OS X I can wake up the monitor. I'm running off my 9600k's integrated graphics. I've been trying to research this issue online but haven't really come up with any realistic solutions. As the title suggests, I was planning on buying the wifi/BT card from amazon, and since, I would like to confirm that it satisfies my uses, I thought of asking here to confirm that: a) Does it work fine with the 5G/2.5G internet? Hello! Recently, I called up Apple about the Customer Code issue on my laptop. The woman said that I should be able to log back in now, even prompted me to reset my NVRAM. However, I did reset my NVRAM, cleared all iMessage and FaceTime files and still gives me (the same) Customer Code error. My MLB ROM etc is correct, the woman told me that she "removed the block from my account". However, and this is very weird!!!! She looked up my (10x confirmed it was NOT!!!!!!!!!!! activated) S/N and did these thing by this, and when I check now my S/N on Apple serial lookup, it does recognize as a device, it shows my "device". What is this? Should I worry about it? After several days of tinkering, with massive amounts of help form the discord, I finally have a working High Sierra install. I'm now trying to do some benchmarks and get the odds and ends working. I've been trying to get ethernet working on the machine but cant seem to find a kext that will work with my controller. I'm using a Super Micro X8DAH+-F motherboard . I saw that there was a small tree kext that is supposed to work with it, but I can't find a download of it. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? So I did post a while back but it didnt seem to get too far. Currently I am running an Asus Prime Z270-K, overclocked, etc. Hackintosh working without issues as is. However due to my disk configuration I have run out of SATA capacity: 1 * 1 TB NVMe 1 * 512 GB boot NVME 2 * 6 TB WD RED NAS Data drives (This is before it gets to my NAS. I have data hoarding issues :D) The motherboard itself has 6 sata ports. Each NVMe drive consumes 2 SATA ports, so to speak (data lanes or whatever). Therefore, all 6 are in use. Whilst not strictly needed, I want the CD drive to work, so therefore need a PCI card for SATA boot of the CD drive. Title says it all after trying hackintosh my GPU R7 240 gives out (atleast I think it’s the GPU) red artifacts across my monitor and the PC crashes. When I open Resident Evil on Windows 10 same thing happens red artifacts freeze and crash. Did fakeid, inject ATI, load vbios break my GPU because it worked perfectly well before hackintoshing for the first time. Hi I’m currently trying to convert my laptop (Acer aspire vn7-792G) into an Hackintosh and so I just went through the internet installation guide and finished the whole fishing part, so I have my boot loader ready with all the files I’m supposed to have ( https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/5i2vsu/succes_acer_v5_592g_vn7_792g/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=&utm_content=post_body ) but I still struggle to get the Ethernet working : it doesn’t seems to work and therefore I can’t access Apple servers :/ The kext I’m using is the RealtekRTL8111, I copied it directly into the USB key (UEFI) in the Kexts/other directory. My Ethernet driver seems to be the Realtek 8168 but there’s also that Aetheros QCA61x4A wireless network adapter (the name seems explicit but it still confuses me, I’m really novice haha) Anyway, if you got have any advise that’d be sweet. I'm trying to install Catalina on MSI GF75 Thin 9rcx(MS-17F2). It has i5-9300h and Intel H370 chipset, which could have 18 usb. When i tried to run install it stoped at AppleBusPowerController........( photo ) I enabled USB Legacy support and XHCI in bios, installed USBInjectAll.kext, but it doesn't work. I tried adding the Kext patches from my USB stick to my SSD's config.plist but it changed nothing :/...
