For alder-lake, I was following this guide and the reddit post as references. hello, I am trying to install macOS Monterey on my Dell Optiplex and I can't get it to work, it stops at "Failed to get local signing public key" and displays the prohibited sign with apple.com/startup and the verbose text is glitched. my dell is a Optiplex 7450 AIO with a i5 (Skylake) and intel hd 530 graphics. Apps are taking 30+ seconds to minutes to open, mostly apps like Maya, brave, photos. They take very long to open, jumping on the task bar, once open no problems. So this is my hackintosh which i have the following. disk 0 is a 500gb SATA SSD: Fedora Silverblue beta 37 disk 1 is a 256gb m.2 SSD: macOS & Windows 11 disk 1 has the opencore bootloader that boots both macos and windows. I installed Fedora Silverblue beta 37 on disk 0 and left everything as default even the bootloader was installed in disk 0. When I had windows, in order for my graphics card to not crash my computer, I had to lower the VRAM on my GPU by just a little bit in MSI Afterburner and it would be fine. I've been trying to find a way to lower VRAM in macOS but I can't find a single solution. It seems that nobody in the 38 year history of macOS has ever made a GPU underclocking software for mac...... Hello, I've been tinkering with hackintosh for a few years now using all the wonderful guides on here and i recently had a Monterey build working with Intel Bluetooth (my Aorus Wifi Pro mobo has the intel bluetooth chip) using the IntelBluetooth 2.2 OpenIntelWireless Kexts. I recently upgraded from a GT710 / GT730 to a 6600xt so i did a clean install. For some reason i can't get the OpenIntelWirelss to work anymore. I see all the posts on which kexts are needed but i'm having a hard time figuring out what order they should be injected in and if i have the correct ones. It USED to work, so i know it can, i just can't seem to recall the order. I've tried so many iterations and combinations that i'm loosing track. Can someone with a working intel bluetooth setup just let me know the correct order and what kexts to inject? Hey guys/gals, I've been out of the loop for about 4 years with a real MacBook but now I've just built a hypervisor server and I have MacOS on a VM with GPU acceleration working. I've been reading Dortania's guide about fixing iMessage/Facetime/AirDrop which seems to be doable except that I didn't find information about whether or not a Bluetooth device is needed. I only got a virtual NIC for the VM and the host does not have BT at all (nor wifi, but i don't believe it's needed). I've gone through many threads and guides and can't figure out why HDMI output won't work. Internal audio isn't working either, but only need HDMI. According to Swoosh1234's guide , " HDMI Audio is fixed by using FakePCIID + FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio (RehabMan-FakePCIID-2018-1027) " I've got those Kexts and have added the info in device properties and still doesn't work. Hey, Iam currently running Catalina with OC 6.0. It works perfectly but I want to update now to at least BigSur. I tried to update my plist with ocat and booted it from a stick. Sadly I had no luck. Got OCB StartImage failed which is strange because Windows is ona completly different SSD. Anyway I thought it would be much better to start from scratch again and build the plist from zero. If I start from zero and build the EFI with OC 8.5 will it work with my current installation? Or should I start from complete zero and also reinstall macos? After I boot opencore from my USB I get a black screen after the verbose screen disappears. I think I enabled all the right dGPU stuff and added agdpmod=pikera to my boot args. I'll attach my config.plist at the bottom of this post. I think my problem is, in the verbose screen, i get what looks like hundreds of 'failed' messages while it's scrolling down. It never stops on a particular message, it always just goes to a black screen and does nothing else. No matter what I do the OS is treating the keyboard as an ANSI layout keyboard, while I want the ISO layout.
