After upgrading to MacOS Sonoma 14.0, I noticed that my late 2014 27" iMac 5K would crash whenever the screensaver or display went to sleep. I have a crash data report, but it is over 4000 characters and I'm not able to attach it to this post. I then upgraded to 14.1 thinking that the crash would be fixed and got the boot issue everyone else was having but was able to fix the boot issue using the ESC button and spacebar to go into recovery and use the terminal solution provided by Mr. Macintosh. After fixing that error I still get the original crash when the screensaver comes on or the display goes to sleep. I have a 15in macbook pro, 2016 with T1 chip (13,3). I upgraded from OCLP 1.0 to 1.1 with Sonoma 14.0. System was working fine. Then I upgraded from 14.0 to 14.1 After the upgrade the system boots without the patches for wifi, graphics, t1 etc. Once I install the patches and reboot the system gets stuck on boot with a kernel panic in the corecrypto.kext kernel extension. When I roll back the snapshot, the patched extensions get deleted and the system boots again without the extensions. I also tried the latest nightly OCLP patcher 1.2n? but that didn’t help. It has the same issue. I attach a picture of the kernel panic. Below is the ocr version of the boot log but it might be easier to look at the picture. Hi, I'm on a Mac Pro 3,1 with oclp 1.1, Ventura 13.6. and so is my macbook pro mid-2012. Problem, when I updated to Ventura 13.6. (directly from Monterey). I noticed that App Store can't install nor update Apps on my Mac Pro 3,1 anymore (install process fails in the last 10% : files cannot be moved to destination. Yes App Store has full disc access granted, doesn't work). Tried all the 7 or 9 tricks that can be found on common webpages (force quit, sign out iCloud reboot sign back in, delete cache,...) nothing brings it back to life. Then I noticed, that the same problem persists on the MacBook Pro mid-2012. The App Stores work fine on my iPhone and iPad. So it's not hardware specific and not Apple ID specific (maybe?) but in my opinion maybe linked to some OCLP parameter? Does anyone has an idea what this could be? Any help would be appreciated! I installed macOS Monteray on my Macbook Pro 15 2014 via OpenCore Legacy Patcher in the past month. Was not happy with the battery life, so returned back to Big Sur by just erasing my SSD and installing new OS from the flash drive. I ignored the instruction " Uninstalling OpenCore " not intentionally. Now I need to install Windows 11 and Ubuntu for parallel boot with macOS Big Sur. After installing Windows via BOOTCAMP I can boot it from boot menu, but why there is an Open Core logo? Hi everyone I’m trying to install macOS Monterey on my computer, everything is compatible. I made a decent EFI and followed the Dortania guide to configure my config.plist. When I try to boot of the usb, it then kernel panics (photo attached below). I then use a sanity checker and the only mistake I’ve done is Patch: replace one byte sequence with another: disabled. I find this setting, turn it on and i try again. I boot again but OpenCore gets stuck on Notice: xpcproxy spawned with pid 333 (I have a video but cannot attach it for some reason) I leave my computer at this stage for around few minutes but to no avail, it is just stuck on this. I can’t update to Mojave which 10.5.0 needs but is there a hack within the package contents of the Logic 10.5.0 app which can get it to work?
