For some reason on my MacBook, I have I use your folder that is not associated with an actual user. The folder is in “Macintosh HD - Data”. Only the folders that show up in “Macintosh HD” get associated to users, not the ones in “McIntosh HD – data“. Is there anyway that I can use the user folders on “Macintosh HD - data” and associate them to a user? I want to have like the same things in the download folder, desktop, etc. Attached the link to a photo where it shows the folders and users. Hello trying to boot high sierra/sierra onto old laptop. Per opencore documentation 1st gen arrandale (i5 560M) is supported. So far i have tried making usb on mac, windows an even linux, and have tried to boot various different supported mac versions with same result. I am using latest opencore version and legacy non-uefi methods. The debug log always seem to stop at OCSMC: SmcReadValue Key 4D534163 Size 2 I select the opencore external dmg in opencore menu and then the machine just reboots and thus is the last line in the logs. 2016 15 TB MBP works great aside from the screensaver causing finder to not function properly upon trying to login after screen saver triggered. Hi, I have my whole item with hackintosh problems in safari. Previously didn't play films on netflix, but a bigsur update helped (apparently there was some issue in the firmware). But now in google maps i have artifacts. But turning on WebGL via Metal helps. Also, some sites with long script response don't work, for example sending a form on some loaded site. safari just gives an error that the page failed to load. Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but since the 1.2.0 drop I have had way more problems than in the past. Mostly I get the "prohibited/no/ghostbuster" symbol once the OS install is done and I install OCLP to the boot drive rather than the USB installer. Several installs seem to work, but on the first reboot after creating the user it will hang during boot. Some installs make it to the login screen but then beachball when you log in. A few have required complete re-installs as, nothing I do post-install will get the machine to boot. It's very weird - and not just on Sonoma... After seeing reports that the OTA Sonoma update worked for people, I decided to chance it. It was successful, but glitchy in weird ways. I had to disable graphics switching, otherwise I'd regularly experience major rendering issues with integrated graphics. The other regular issue is that apps - including Finder - would start crashing and require a reboot to launch successfully. I decided to do a proper install using a USB installer, this time 14.1.1. So far I haven't experienced the app crashing, but now I'm getting regular kernel panics, possibly related to sleep because it seems to happen when I come back. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms? I have seen several post with a successful installation on a razer blade 14 with the same hardware. I mapped my usb ports before attempting to install macOS. I am able to boot to the installer just fine but while I’m trying to format my disk or actually installing macOS on the drive, it will reboot. When i try to install the EFI oclp boot on my nvme drive to statup my mac from the nvme drive and not the installer USB plugged in I get no more screen with startup.
