I have a 2017 iMac with OCLP installed, the system was native up to Ventura, with OLCP I have Sonoma installed. Long story not worth getting into, I need to reimage. My plan was to use the Apple recovery tool to get a Ventura baseline, then install OCLP, then finally put Sonoma on it. This is my first time attempting anything with building a hackintosh. I was following this github repo to use on one of my old t460s laptops. https://github.com/simprecicchiani/ThinkPad-T460s-macOS-OpenCore The only difference with my t460s is I have a 1440 LCD and no touch. I can get into and past OC fine, but when the apple logo appears and the loading bar gets maybe 15% done, system reboots for Sonoma. From Hardware Compatibility in the github Readme: 2. 1440p displays should change NVRAM -> Add -> 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 -> UIScale:2 to get proper scaling while booting. However, I'm uncertain if this is correct? Opening the plist in OCAT I get a warning for another error. But I do not see UIScale where it is described. I tried adding, did not make a difference. I’ve been trying to install macOS on my XPS 13 7390 for a while now. I’ve disabled the CFG lock on my BIOS. I’ve had some slight success in that I’ve it installed, but now I’m getting a random black screen which results in me having to remove and reinstall the battery to reboot. I’ve not managed to install opencore legacy patcher yet as this was my next step before I started getting these black screens. I’m using the EFI made by theJayTea (I’ve linked it, I’m using V2 for Ventura). How do I go about fixing it? I’m not really sure where I even begin to look, as all the kexts and drivers were precompiled. Could anyone advise what I’m meant to do to fix this? Hey folks. Care to shed a light on this one? I'm on a MBAir 13" early 15 running Yosemite Using latest OC patcher downloaded yesterday. Want to get to Sonoma, via Monterey (2 consecutive upgrades - already did this on a 2012 MB Pro) When running the OC patcher it can't download installers. It says: "Error - Failed to download installer Catalog from Apple". That's annoying but I found 2 ways to get around it; 1) Download an installer manually (ic found Monterey on mrmacintosch.com) and present that one to the OC patcher, and 2) make a Monterey bootable disk with OC patcher on my already upgraded MB Pro. (Side note; this 2nd option may not be perfect because the USB is then not really created to upgrade the Mac on which it was made. But OK...) I was running Ventura on a Mac Mini 2012 A1347 and today it mysteriously disappeared from the OpenCore boot picker. Everything on Ventura was very smooth the first two days I had it, but today I turned it on and it was extremely slow: the menu bar and dock took a while to load, opening the control center or WiFi menu caused the menu bar to hang and show a beachball, the OpenCore app just jumped for a while and took forever to open, and even popups like restarting took a while to show. I set it to restart and left to go do something, when I came back, it was in a weird open core text boot picker and when I restarted again there was no Ventura option in OpenCore. It is strange that OpenCore still boots from my drive, but it doesn’t see Ventura. I think the install must have gotten corrupted somehow. There was nothing important on that install, and so I will likely just reinstall Ventura. My question for you is: have you seen anything like this before, and is there any way you know o...

Hi, Just installed Ventura on my mac pro 3,1 and it works great, aside from sleep and bluetooth. Bluetooth is an easy fix, but I'm having trouble with sleep. I've spent the weekend trying to figure it out. Specs: 2x3.0 GHz quad core xeon 16 GB 800 MHz RAM GTX 680 Mac Flashed 27 inch LED Cinema display Here's what I have on the issue: When I press sleep, the display shuts off, and everything looks like it's going to work. The pulsing LED comes on on the computer. About 1-5 seconds later, I hear the hard drives spin back up, the optical drives make a noise, and the light stops pulsing. Eventually it goes back to pulsing, but wakes up again. The display never comes on. Wake reason: UHC3 I've determined that this is related to USB 1.1, and I'm 99% sure it has something to do with bluetooth. IORegistryExplorer reports that UHC3 is PCI Device ID: 0x268a. Additionally, in Catalina, bluetooth shows up in system information under the same hex. I've removed...

The owner/admin of the site immediately offered me to help via remote connection, him connecting remotely to my computer. Hi, I recently got both a 2012 macbook pro and 2013 imac that I upgraded to sonoma with oclp. Both worked great but after signing into my apple ID on both and rebooting they don't have graphics acceleration anymore (black dock general sluggishness). Does anyone know why this can happen? Not using memoji or anything. Also worth noting that this does not happen on my 2015 imac with AMD graphics, so I'm guessing it's something related to nvdia.
