@MaLd0n Thanks a lot, had a good look at the Corsair range at my regular supplier. They are a bit pricey but I think worth it. Will probably go for 3 x of the 2TB MP600 Pro models. Just wandering if the ones with the heat sink will actually fit the GIGABYTE Z790 D DDR4 mobo which will hopefully be delivered tomorrow when I can check it myself. Gigabyte mobos are usually "encapsulating" NVMe's on their mobos under a heartsinks of their own. While we are at it wandering what memory you would recommend, I am considering 4 x Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 3600Mhz sticks for a total 64 Gigs. The mobo can actually take "faster" memory, I might actually go for a version with a notch or 2 higher speed, what is your take on this one ? Memory sporting the RGB "shnic shnac" is not really compulsory, although perhaps aesthetically quite pleasing when in a box with a see through tampered glass side panel, which I do have for this new build. Hi I have Ventura and Windows 11 installed on separate SSD drives. I have a drive power unit with buttons to turn off power to the drives. So when I'm using windows I turn off the power to my Ventura drive so that it can't see or interfere with the windows drive and vice versa. Hi all I'm trying to make OCLP run Sequoia on: MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.6 15", late 2016 (Model A1707) But iMessage is crashing every time the second I open the app. The app is not responding and only Force Quit can kill it. I tried “Disabling Feature Unlock” but it didn’t fix it. Universal Clipboard is also not working. I have tried several times to reinstall, on an erased disk. Everything works fine when running OCLP and Sonoma. Reverting to this makes everything run smoothly again, so I doubt it's my iCloud/Apple ID that is corrupt. Hello everybody, I'm on macOS Sequoia 15.0 right now and it's working very well. There's only one problem when I shut down my hackintosh. I have to reset NVRAM every time I boot otherwise I get black screen with no signal. Do you guys know any fix? Just completed the updates / upgrades. I love this old 2012 machine. The thought of buying a new Mac Pro just bummed me out! This should be good a few more years (God willing) I had to down-grade from RX6900 to Radeon VII just to run Sequoia, non the less I'm very happy! Hi everyone! I hope someone can give me a hand, I'd appreciate it immensely!! (I have no idea if this is the correct place to ask this, but Idk what to do) A bit of context: a few days ago I installed Secuoia on my 2012 MBPs (13" & 15"). They run like a breeze, and I didn't have any problems installing oclp! In fact, they work so well that I tried to do the same with my 2017 MBP ( 14'1, 13", two thunderbolt). But then, the problems started :/ First, I tried to install Secuoia as I did with the other two old boys (I didn't use the same usb!), but I can never get into the installer screen. The mac always ends up in recovery mode. Afterwards, I tried to install Ventura (just in case there was some type of problem or incompatibility), but this time, the EFI Boot entry simply doesn't appear (I've tried multiple times) I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong (I followed all the steps carefully, and the two previous installations I did on my old...

On both Sonoma and Sequoia, after choosing MacOS from the boot loader screen, I get the Apple logo and loading bar for a while, then the screen turns black for what I think is maybe around 3 minutes , then I get to the login screen and everything works fine. As of right now, I dual boot windows and mac os, I installed windows mainly because I used to play siege, and Ubisoft didn't provide linux support, now that I'm done with this trash game and equally bad community, I really want to switch back to arch, it's mainly going to be a gaming and maybe coding partition. I have the ASUS BT400 Bluetooth adapter and it's not working as it should. AirDrop detects Mac OS from my phone but not the other way round and none of the continuity features are working at all. I'm using BlueToolFixup with the kexts loaded in the correct order. Hi 👋 I have an iMac late 2015 21” Every version of OCLP crash’s my computer when 1. Copy paste 2. Safari using arrows 3. Right click Computer becomes unusable I saw some workarounds like FeatureUnlock -> partial But everytime I boot I’ll have to root patch it again so it stays partial. Any ideas how to fix this? One other thing, since I updated to iOS 18 + sequoia I cannot use continuity camera as it does not recognize iPhone’s 13 camera only audio. I installed Sonoma a few weeks ago on my 500HDD and it worked perfectly. Booted onto my Windows for like a day or two, when I tried to boot back to the Hackintosh, my hard drive wasn't working. I formatted it and tried viewing it from my windows, it wasn't showing. This happened again today with my 150GB HDD. I use my hackintosh mainly to connect to my iDevices. I'm trying to create a Sonoma hackintosh on a Dell 3070 - 9500T (no dGPU) and I get a black screen after verbose boot. I tried going through a few guides to disabling CFG lock since that was mentioned a few times, however, the guide to do that script is failing for me. I followed the dortania guide to make my own EFI config.plist pastebin verbose log pastebin When I try to use the bios extractor tool for Dell, I get an error from the script about a missing module 'common.checksums' and this persists for all the modules declared in the script. Trying to install it didn't help, I get en error 'could not find a version that satisfies the requirement' and this happens on both Mac and Windows. Not sure if there's anything else I might be missing in the current setup outside of the CFG lock that could be the issue. Hey everyone, I just updated to OCLP 2.0.2 yesterday on my iMac mid-2011, running macOS Sequoia 15.0, and I wanted to share something amazing that I didn’t expect. While messing around with my iPad, I randomly decided to see if I could mirror my iPad’s screen to any nearby monitor, and to my surprise, I saw my iMac listed as an option!
