Hello, I'm writing here because I tried every fix I found online but still coudn't do it. I have an 8600k (UHD 630), smbios 19.2 on a vanilla mojave install 10.14.6 and the U2515H Dell monitor (2560x1440). On my macbook pro 15, with switchresx scaled resolution, I'm able to select 1080 hidpi with this monitor. On the hackintosh I can do 1440x810 or lower hidpi but not 1080 (I can choose 3000x2000 hidpi so it's not an "upper limit" of the gpu). Any help? So I threw away all the beast tools and followed the vanilla install to a T. My bios shows my USB drive is plugged in but it doesn't show the ability to load clover. I'm just about ready to throw in the towel here. What do you need from me to see where I went wrong? Most my Google results only show how to recover if the SSD fails. Hey peeps. So I managed to fry my genuine 2015 MBP whilst upgrading the disk (and not disconnecting the battery). However I didn't realise quite how bad the design for new laptops had gotten. So I paid £1700 for a new 2019 MBA and I hate it, hate it, hate it. I didnt realise before hand how poor the connectivity options are on the new range of hardware.. No HDMI, no magsafe, no mini-display and not a single USB 3 port. That means if I want to run my monitor and a usb mouse whilst on charge I have to start messing around with USB-C hubs as there are only 2 USB-C ports and one is needed for charging (Don't get me started on cable length either!) What a totally backward step. For the money, I am tempted to give it back and go hackintosh for 2/3rds the price but proper connectivity! I prepared an installer USB for High Sierra according the corp newt vanilla guide. When installing, I first wiped the SSD (Which previously had El Capitan on it) and began the install process. The installer begins and gives a progress bar, but always reboots at 2 minutes remaining. I first hoped this was to do with the natural multiple reboots that occur on real macs during such an install, and selected the usb install media from Clover on reboot. However this has not worked as, on rebooting to the USB, it is obviously starting again from scratch and once again reboots at 2 minutes remaining. I have to manually elect the installer utility so I'm pretty sure it's not picking up where it left off. In desperation I hoped perhaps it really was completing and I just didn't get to see what happened after 2 minutes remaining before the reboot just starts. So I tried booting from the SSD. It booted successfully and began an installation process, however this process always stal...

My Hackintosh gives me a blank screen when I try to use sleep mode. So I just disabled sleep mode altogether. The problem is that I will go to use the machine and it will be in sleep mode! I was recently testing undervolting on my Hackintosh 9560 4K model. And I notice that when it was loading a website, opening FCPX or After effects (full load situation), the screen would turned black suddenly, and the system restarts.
