Hey peeps.

So I managed to fry my genuine 2015 MBP whilst upgrading the disk (and not disconnecting the battery). However I didn't realise quite how bad the design for new laptops had gotten.

So I paid £1700 for a new 2019 MBA and I hate it, hate it, hate it. I didnt realise before hand how poor the connectivity options are on the new range of hardware.. No HDMI, no magsafe, no mini-display and not a single USB 3 port. That means if I want to run my monitor and a usb mouse whilst on charge I have to start messing around with USB-C hubs as there are only 2 USB-C ports and one is needed for charging (Don't get me started on cable length either!)

What a totally backward step. For the money, I am tempted to give it back and go hackintosh for 2/3rds the price but proper connectivity!

Someone at apple needs a proper kick up the arse for this!
