I've been trying for 4 days now to get a Kaby Lake Alienware 13 r3 hackintoshed with some luck, but a ton of frustration.
Specs: hq7700 GTX1060 (using intel hd630 for install) 1tb samsung PM961 NVMe 512gb Toshiba OME NVMe 16gb 2667 ddr4 ram Killer wireless (OSX compatible replacement in the mail) Oled touch display (2560x1440)
So far I've had to follow these guides in tandem to get into the installation https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-dell-xps-13-9360-on-macos-sierra-10-12-x-lts-long-term-support-guide.213141/
http://beyondspec.org/2017/01/04/the-foreigner-macos-sierra-10-12-2-on-an-alienware-13-r3-2016/
but still am having trouble getting the Toshiba drive working, and once I tried just installing on the Samsung I had a panic mid install that was related to an incorrect fake system id.
Since then my USB stopped being bootable and I need to start over, it's really painful to be this close with no success.
Anyone who wants to give some advice would be greatly appreciated, and if you wanted to really hold my hand though the whole thing I can probably pay you for your trouble.
