I would like to switch my machine from running Sierra on the bare metal to running Sierra on a VM; but I'd like to keep the video and disk direct. I'm running a 5930 with a pair of Maxwell Titan X cards. I don't care if the host OS (Linux? FreeBSD?) has video access; but I haven't been able to figure out how to get it all up and running yet, and I don't want to mess around until I have a better idea of if it's possible or not.
I'd also love to be able to keep my existing installation; I use Clover to boot off of a USB stick, so I figure that this part, at least, should be do-able.
Thoughts? Pointers to decent FAQs?
